I've never been into black guitars that much, but this really floats my boat.

I like black guitars. I particularly like black archtops, although I've never owned one. I also like black Les Pauls better than any other finish. I've always wanted one that looked like Jeff Beck's black Les Paul on one of his album covers. And this is even though I don't care for the ergonomics or the weight of those instruments; they're too heavy and too small. But they sure look cool.
PRS certainly knows how to finish a guitar.

Dave Rogers is a really good guy to do business with! Eautiful looking guitar!

Beautiful guitar. The PRS SE guitars tend to be very very good IMHO.
We picked up a PRS SE Zach Meyers a while back and it is a delight to play.
It hangs nicely with any of my crazy expensive guitars.
Paul Reed Smith SE Zach Myers Myers Blue Mint on Sale
Maybe someday I'll get my hands on a Hollowbody 594 to try ... but I'm trying not to think about that.

Aesthetically, I'd swap out the gold knobs for clear, to match the chrome.

Literally the only reason I don't buy PRS is because of the bird inlays

Did I not warn you not to watch the Hitchco*ck movie repeatedly?Originally Posted by chris32895

I envision a cheesy remake of the Hitchco*ck film that takes place in a PRS guitar factory. The birds fly off the guitar necks and viciously attack the workers, then they escape into the nearby community and go after any guitar player they can find - what a grisly scene!

- Glad you like it, didn't mean to take the air out of your tires. The rest of the instrument is totally spot on

The Zach Meyers can hold its own with any of my expensive guitars. I have liked everything with the PRS 24.594 scale length that I've tried.
I've been jamming on jazz tunes with a small group and the Zach does a really good job IMHO.
I've tried my 175 and L4CES with the group, but I keep going back to the Zach ... and an LP R4 reissue for my main guitar with this group.
I think I'm leaning towards the R4 and its P-90 single coils, but the Zach is a good match for our tune selections, too.
